Comforting, tactile Taggies blankets and plush toys, trimmed all around with colorful, satiny ribbon tags that babies love to stroke, have grown from a tiny sew-at-home project to a multimillion-dollar business under Julie Dix and Danielle Ayotte, who met in their children’s play group and soon teamed up to produce the unique blankets.
Since that micro-start, Taggies’ office and manufacturing facilities expanded five times in six years to accommodate sales growth.
