TAGGIES RENAMES CHARITY PROGRAM TO TAGS OF LOVE™
Commits Annual Donation of Taggies Products to
Children’s Hospital Boston
Spencer, MA, — In an effort to bring comfort
to children everywhere, Taggies, Inc., multiple award-winning creator
of children’s products developed by two moms featuring patented,
multi-textured, looped satin tags, is renaming its charity program
to reflect and highlight the nurturing properties inherent to the
brand. Formerly known as Random Acts of Kindness, Taggies’ charitable
giving program, now recognized as “Tags of Love ™”,
has chosen to dedicate its charitable resources to Children’s
Hospital Boston.
In a joint statement, Taggies co-founders Danielle Ayotte and
Julie Dix stated: “We chose Children’s Hospital Boston
because of its commitment to excellence and world-class reputation
for pediatric care and research. Our goal is to help children when
they are most vulnerable by offering them a security object that
will not only comfort them, but assist them developmentally as
well.”
Taggies are designed to enhance a child’s growth and sense
of security by providing tactile and visually stimulating features
that both entertain and soothe. Taggies’ principle feature
is based on the idea that babies and kids love to rub satin edges,
clothing labels and tags. Mothers have discovered that the tactile
experience not only provides entertainment, but also helps comfort
and reassure their little ones during transition and/or disruption
to everyday routine/schedule.
“Children’s Hospital’s Child Life Department
is elated to be able to offer Taggies products to our patients,” said
LaKeisha Ruley, Child Life Specialist at Children’s Hospital
Boston. “Taggies products are greatly needed, and will help
stimulate and promote development in our patients.”
