Fun TAGGIES™ Time with Celebrity Families!
SPENCER, MA (PRWEB) - Multi-award
winning children’s product manufacturer Taggies, Inc. has
returned from a whirlwind trip to L.A., where the company was one
of a select group of vendors invited to participate in an exclusive
pre-Golden Globes Hollywood gifting event, The Boom Boom Room & Big
Kid Villa, hosted by celebrity fashion insider Jayneoni Moore.
Taggies shared its patented, interactive line of colorful, tag-adorned
products with hundreds of celebrity moms.
The “kid appeal” of TAGGIES™ blankets, bordered
all around with an array of multi-colored tags, quickly became
apparent, as babies and toddlers reached for them from the arms
of Hollywood's hottest celebrities, including Angela Bassett, Chandra
Wilson, Shirly Brener, Joely Fisher, and Rena Sofer.
Angela Bassett was excited to discover Taggies, enthusing, “What
a wonderful product!” Angela selected outfits for her
twins from the new line of TAGGIES™ interactive apparel.
"I love these!" said TV Guide Channel host
Zoriana Kitt, who is expecting a baby. That sentiment was
echoed by Kevin Weisman of Alias and his wife Jodi, who
attended with daughter Maya Rose.
When MTV’s Bill Bellamy’s little boy latched
onto his gift of a Take-A-Long TAGGIES™ travel toy, dad Bill
joked, “I want one for myself!” Dr. 90210’s Linda
Li and her husband brought their 8-day-old baby and gushed over
the super-soft Love Notes Little TAGGIES™ blanket. Joely
Fisher, of ‘Til Death, proudly declared, “I
am a BIG fan of TAGGIES™,” while sharing the products’ benefits
with her very pregnant sister. Speaking of sisters, 20-year-old
actress Kat Dennings announced, “I don’t have kids,
but my sister is going to have a baby soon, and she is going to
love these!”
Said Glamour Specialist Jayneoni Moore, one of Hollywood's favorite
style celebrities, seen regularly on Entertainment Tonight/The
Insider, MSNBC Hot List, MTV, CNN and VH1's Fabulous Life of Celebrity
Kids, “I was soooo excited to have Taggies included in our
Pre Golden Globes Gifting Suite!!! I love their products,
and it’s obvious that hundreds of celebrity parents do, too!”
Jean Louisa Kelly, of Yes, Dear and Mr. Holland’s
Opus, reminded all present that her two-year-old, Sean,
is a “Taggies kid” who has loved his Taggies since
infancy. Born in Boylston, Massachusetts, Jean Louisa was thrilled
to note, “The Taggies ladies are near my hometown!”
Explained Danielle Ayotte, co-founder and co-owner of Taggies,
Inc., “Participating in the Boom Boom Room event was an incredibly
uplifting mix of meeting fantastic celebrity parents and their
adorable children, along with hearing, over and over again, that
so many of them are longstanding Taggies followers! Seeing so many
of their babies clutching, interacting with, and enjoying Taggies,
while listening to their parents share how much our products mean
to them, was very meaningful and rewarding. We really appreciated
being a part of such a fun day!”
The Boom Room's Baby and Big Kid Villa benefits the Epidermolysis
Bullosa Medical Research Foundation (EBMRF), a volunteer nonprofit
foundation dedicated to the support of medical research of Epidermolysis
Bullosa.
About Taggies
Young mothers Julie Dix and Danielle Ayotte founded Taggies, Inc.
after meeting in their toddlers' playgroup. Danielle immediately
noticed the "blankie" Julie's toddler carried -- trimmed
all around with satiny, colorful little "tags," the
kind babies always seem to find and love to rub. Today, just
seven years later, the patented Taggies licensed and core product
line includes small and large blankets, plush items, activity
toys, soft balls, rattles, baby booties, crib sets, interactive
baby apparel, and the Scholastic “My First Taggies Book” series.
Taggies products are sold at more than 4,500 independent specialty
shops and premium department stores nationwide and in Canada,
the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Belgium,
The Netherlands, and Luxembourg. Taggies are also available through
more than a dozen catalogs, including RedEnvelope and Lillian
Vernon. Scholastic “My First Taggies” books are sold
at Wal-Mart, Target, Toys R Us, Borders, Barnes & Noble and
other mass marketers. Products and authorized retailers may be
found at www.taggies.com and
